Solution 1: How to use Messenger on a Windows Phone

The operating system of the Windows Phone includes the option to chat with your contacts via your Microsoft Account. In order to do so, you must set it up, set your connection status and search for contacts or conversations.

Warning: bear in mind that you will not be able to modify or change the first account added to the service, unless you restore the default settings.

  2. Select Set-up.

  3. Now click on mail and accounts.

  4. Add an account and click on Windows Live.

  5. Enter your email address and password and click on start session.

  6. Once the account is synchronized, you can chat with your contacts from the Messages application.



See the conversations

  1. Go to the home screen and open Messages.

  2. There you will see any messages received or conversations started previously.

Change your connection status
  1. Go to the home screen and open Messages.

  1. Go to the home screen and open Messages.

  2. Scroll to the right and you will see all your contacts that are online. Select the desired user.

  3. Press chat in Messenger.

  4. Write your message and press the send button.

Solution 2: How to use Messenger on iPhone

  1. On the Home screen, click on the App Store icon.

  2. Next, click on the Search icon.

  3. In the search field, enter windows live messenger and click on the Search button.

  4. Now select the Windows Live Messenger application.

  5. Click on Free and on Install; the application will start to download and install.
