SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario: In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment, you installed the latest update packages for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services (SSIS). Then, you insert rows into a DB2 table. Some of these rows already exist in the table. In this scenario, you see that the error flow redirection fails. When this issue occurs, you see that all rows, both "good" and "bad," are redirected as errors.

For example, you insert 12,750 rows into a table in DB2 that has unique indexes. Then, on a second pass, you try to insert 25,000 rows. This second set contains the first 12,750 rows. In this example, you expect that the 12,750 rows with some additional rows to be redirected to the error log. However, you see that all 25,000 rows are sent.
