Introduction

Windows Internet Explorer 10 Developer Preview is now available for Windows Developer Preview. Windows Internet Explorer 10 Developer Preview helps you obtain content from the web faster and easier. Windows Internet Explorer 10 Developer Preview also helps provide a web browsing experience that is safer than ever.

Note Windows Internet Explorer 10 Developer Preview is included in Windows Developer Preview. Windows Internet Explorer 10 Developer Preview is currently not available for Windows 7.

In addition to the classic experience of Windows Internet Explorer on the Windows Desktop, Windows Internet Explorer 10 Developer Preview is the first Windows browser that is designed specifically for touch-based input functionality. 

Note To try the new touch experience, Windows Internet Explorer 10 Developer Preview must be set as the default browser.
