Incorrect list view results are displayed in a SharePoint Server 2010 document library

SYMPTOMS

Assume that you upload several document item lists to a document library in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. SharePoint Server 2010 displays incorrect list view results or displays incorrect item count information when you perform either of the following operations: 
  • You use multiple managed metadata column filters that use multiple values to filter the document item lists on multiple columns.
  • You use the metadata navigation and filtering feature to filter the document item lists on multiple columns.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, apply the following update:
