INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0. This update provides the latest fixes for Windows SharePoint Services 2.0. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

RESOLUTION

Issue that this update fixes

After you install security update 2494007, the List View web part in Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 or in SharePoint Portal Server 2003 cannot display. Additionally, you receive the following error message: 
Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Windows SharePoint Services-compatible HTML editor such as FrontPage. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.
