INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • You open an Excel 2010 workbook.

    • You open the same workbook in a second Excel 2010 instance, and then click the Notify button.

    • You close the first Excel 2010 instance.

    • You click the Read-Write button in the File Now Available dialog box in the second Excel 2010 instance.

In this scenario, hyperlinks in the workbook do no work. Additionally, this issue remains after you save the workbook.

  • In Excel 2010, the tooltip does not display the value of a series in a PivotChart chart that is connected to an On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) data source.

Note This issue does not occur in Microsoft Office Excel 2007.

  • Assume that you have a Microsoft Office Excel 2003 file opened, and that the zoom setting is not 100 percent. While the file is open, you open an HTML file that was saved in Office Excel 2003. In this situation, the custom column width in the HTML file is changed.

  • 2598259 An ActiveX button is changed to an incorrect size in an Excel 2010 worksheet after you click the ActiveX button
