Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help to prevent any unauthorized changes to the file. The purpose of the Places COM Add-in is to allow users to customize the Places Bar found in the Open and Save As dialog boxes that are used throughout the Office 2000 applications. With this add-in, you can customize the Open and Save As dialog boxes to use places on your local drive or on your network.
