This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for the following countries and language locales.

  • French (Switzerland) (fr-ch)

  • German (Switzerland) (de-ch)

  • Italian (Switzerland) (it-ch)

Symptoms

When you run the Swiss VAT Statement report (26100) in the Swiss version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 and of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the VAT year number under the VAT Statement Switzerland headline in the report is incorrect. The VAT year number is always "VAT 2010."

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 service pack or the next Microsoft Dynamics NAV version that contains this hotfix.

Note In special cases, charges that are ordinarily incurred for support calls may be canceled if a Technical Support Professional for Microsoft Dynamics and related products determines that a specific update will resolve your problem. The usual support costs will apply to additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for the specific update in question.

Code changes

    FontSize=8;
    FontBold=No;

    // Delete the following line.
    SourceExpr=Text010;
    // End of the line.

    DataSetFieldName=Text010 }
    { 1150126;Shape ;0 ;2073 ;18150;42 ;ShapeStyle=HorzLine }
    }
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    { 1150125;TextBox ;0 ;423 ;1650 ;423 ;HorzAlign=General;
    FontSize=8;
    FontBold=No;

    // Add the following line.
    SourceExpr=STRSUBSTNO(Text010,FORMAT(DATE2DMY(WORKDATE,3)));
    // End of the line.

    DataSetFieldName=Text010 }
    { 1150126;Shape ;0 ;2073 ;18150;42 ;ShapeStyle=HorzLine }
    }
    ...
  2. Change the the value of the Text010@1150016 text constant in the Swiss VAT Statement report (26100) from the "ENU=VAT 2010" value to the "ENU=VAT %1" value.
