Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2) fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security updates that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 SP2 update release.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services (SSRS 2008) report that has a text box. The report has a page header or a page footer.

  • You use Me.Value to access the Value property of the text box.

For example, you set the tool tip expression of the text box to =IIF (IsNothing(Me.Value), 'True', 'False').

  • You run the report.

In this scenario, Me.Value might be incorrectly evaluated to a NULL value.
