You cannot synchronize notes (memos) or contact items between a BlackBerry device and an Exchange mailbox in Office 365 Dedicated

Symptoms

You notice that changes, new notes (memos), or contacts are not synchronized between a BlackBerry device and a Microsoft Exchange mailbox in Microsoft Office 365 Dedicated.

Cause

The wireless synchronization function is disabled on the device.

Resolution

Confirm that the wireless synchronization of notes (memos) and contacts is enabled in BlackBerry Administrative Service (BAS) and on the device.

To confirm that the wireless synchronization of notes (memos) and contacts is enabled in BAS, follow these steps:
  1. Click Manage Users.
  2. Search for and then click the user.
  3. Under Messaging Configuration on the user's main page, click Default Configuration.
  4. Click the Organizer Data Synchronization tab.
  5. Check the Synchronization setting for Memos. By default, it is set to Yes.
To confirm that the wireless synchronization of notes (memos) and contacts is enabled on the device, follow these steps:
  1. Open the MemoPad program in the BlackBerry.
  2. Click Menu, and then click Select Options.
  3. Verify that Wireless Synchronization is set to Yes.
