Diamond Monster Sound M80 joystick port functionality lost after upgrade to Windows Millennium Edition

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade to Windows Millennium Edition, if you use the Diamond Monster Sound M80 sound card, the joystick port may become unusable or it may not be listed in Device Manager.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you are using version 1.07.06 of the sound card driver.
