The Audio Selection Button is missing in Lync

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Lync has a button that is known as the Audio Selection Button. This button lets you switch between audio devices in the middle of a conversation or a conference. There is currently a known issue in which the button is not always displayed for a customer who is not enabled for Enterprise Voice. 

Currently, there is no date that is available for a resolution. Customers who have Enterprise Voice for Microsoft Office 365 dedicated should not experience this issue. If you have Enterprise Voice, and you experience this behavior, please follow your company's process to escalate to Microsoft Online Services Support. 

CAUSE

A conflict in the Lync Client software may occur when a user is not enabled for Enterprise Voice.

RESOLUTION

There is no resolution currently.
