Symptoms

When you use the Kensington VideoCam Universal Serial Bus (USB) camera to capture video, the frame sampling rate may be poor (about two or three frames per second). You may also receive error messages.

When an error message is displayed, or when you check Faultlog.txt, if you press ALT+D, the following details are displayed:
Trap 13 (0DH) - General Protection Fault 0000
eax=00000000 ebx=00000001 ecx=760c7a18 edx=0406fe28 esi=00000000

Resolution

To resolve this issue, download the latest software and firmware updates from the manufacturer of the device.
