SYMPTOMS

When viewing the Server Configuration container in the Exchange Management Console (EMC), an alert indicates that your SSL certificate is expired. Also, connections to Exchange services that use this certificate may fail.

CAUSE

An SSL certificate for one or more Microsoft Exchange 2010 services has expired or will expire soon.

RESOLUTION

Renew or replace the certificate
