SYMPTOMS

Assume that the 2007 Microsoft Office Servers Service Pack 3 (SP3) is installed. When a Web Services for Remote Portlets (WSRP) user sends a request, the WSRP user receives an exception.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, you must add redirect servers to a trusted server list in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. You can create a trusted server list by adding the following element into the <Producer> element in the WSRP configuration file:

<RedirectServers>
<RedirectServer>safe.org</RedirectServer>
</RedirectServers>
Note The WSRP configuration file has the following path:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\12.0\Config\TrustedWSRPProducers.config
