SYMPTOMS

When you perform a Move Mailbox operation in Exchange Server 5.5, you may receive an error message that is uninformative, such as the following:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeIS Private
Event Category: Move Mailbox
Event ID: 8532
Date: 4/28/2000
Time: 1:35:38 PM
User: N/A
Computer: Computer Name
Description: The following folder failed to be opened during move mailbox for Baaa Nchichi-exch1.
Folder: 1-1E03; Error code: NULL.

CAUSE

This error message can be logged if diagnostic logging for the information store is set to medium or higher.
