When you try to add a mailbox database copy by using the Add_MailboxDatabaseCopy cmdlet in the Exchange Management Shell, you receive an error message that resembles the following:

This issue can occur if the Exchange Trusted Subsystem (ETS) universal security group is not a member of the Local Administrators group on one or more of the database availability group (DAG) servers.
To resolve this issue, add the ETS universal security group to the Local Administrators group on one or more of the DAG servers.
Note If this issue occurs again, check whether an existing Group Policy Object is changing the Local Administrators group.
