When you create an online meeting by using a client other than Microsoft Outlook 2000, the client receives an e-mail message from the Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server computer that confirms or denies the reservation. However, the confirmation message may not contain a Forward button to forward the meeting Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to the meeting recipients.

Alternatively, you can provide information in the Notes section of the original meeting request that explains that the meeting is an online meeting and that recipients can join the meeting from the conferencing Web site. By default, the conferencing Web site is located at the following URL:

You can view a list of available conferences from the following URL:
http://Exchange_2000_Conference_Server_computer_name/conferencing/list.asp
Please note, you cannot schedule a private conference using earlier versions of Outlook and Outlook Web Access as you can with Outlook 2000. Therefore, uninvited attendees may join the conference if they know the correct URL.
