XCCC: How to Make Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Available in Outlook 2000

This article discusses how to enable the Microsoft Exchange Conferencing option in the drop-down list in the meeting request form and the Join Conference menu command in Microsoft Outlook 2000.

4. Close Registry Editor.

You can also use Microsoft Notepad to create a file that users can start on their own computers to change the registry. To do this:

1. Open Notepad and create a file that contains the following text:
   REGEDIT4
   [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\ExchangeConferencing]
2. Save the file with a .reg extension, for example, Confsvc.reg.
3. Send the registry file to your Outlook users and instruct them to double-click the file.
