SUMMARY

You may want to run the Terminal Services Licensing tool from another Windows 2000 client, for remote administration or troubleshooting purposes. This article describes how to do this.

Runing the tool from a Windows 2000-based Server or Windows 2000 Professional-based Computer

  1. Log on to or remotely connect to a Windows 2000-based server running Terminal Services Licensing.
  2. Go to the Winnt\System32 folder and copy the Licmgr.exe and Lrwizdll.dll files to the Winnt\System32 folder of the computer on which you want to run the tool.
  3. Double-click the Licmgr.exe file to run the Terminal Services Licensing tool.
