Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You develop a client application in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. The client application uses a ReportViewer control.
-
The client application tries to use a nondefault printer to print a report that is hosted by the ReportViewer control.
In this scenario, your experience printing problems. For example, the wrong paper tray is used, the report is printed in black and white when the printer is set to use colors, or the client application crashes.

Workaround
To work around this issue, set the printer that you use to print the report as the default printer.
