Article ID: 263743 - Last Review: February 20, 2007 - Revision: 3.4 RasDisable and RasForce WinLogon Policies Can Be BypassedThis article was previously published under Q263743 SYMPTOMS
When you set the RasDisable or RasForce WinLogon policies, they appear at first to work. For example, when you press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, the Log on using dial-up connection check box is disabled. However, if you click the Options button twice to condense and then expand the Log On to Windows dialog box, the Log on using dial-up connection check box is enabled.
CAUSE
The code to expand the dialog box does not check the settings for RasDisable or RasForce before enabling the check box.
