SUMMARYThis article describes the Daylight Savings Time (DST) changes for Russia that may affect Microsoft Office Live Meeting Service. MORE INFORMATIONRussia canceled DST starting 2011. You should be aware of the following DST and time zone changes when using Live Meeting Service and make appropriate changes. Install the required updates
Verify meeting invitations Live Meeting invitations may be off by one hour for the meetings created in the affected time zones. Meeting organizers must check their meeting start times and, if it is necessary, update and resend invitations. This process will make sure that all meeting invitees have the correct Outlook calendar items. Live Meeting does not support recent Russian DST changes for the time zones that are listed in the table. Meetings that are created in these time zones or that have invitees within these time zones may have incorrect start times. Therefore, organizers have to communicate with meeting invitees, based on their locations. The following table provides guidelines for creating/updating meetings when using Russia Time zones: Collapse this table
Updating user default Live Meeting Service allows users to set the default time zone. If you have set the default time zone to one of the above listed time zones, update to a recommended time zone to have better experience during your future scheduling purposes. The default time zone can be configured from the Time Zone list under Manage Display Options on the User Preferences page that can be accessed from the Live Meeting Service manager's home page. | Other Resources Other Support Sites
