SYMPTOMS

In Visio 2000 Standard Edition and Visio 2000 Technical Edition, when you undo manual connections in an organization chart, Visio may stop responding.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Visio 2000 SR-1.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

On the File menu, point to New, point to Organization Chart, and then click Organization Chart.
Drag a Manager shape to the drawing page.
Drag a Position shape to the drawing page.
Drag the control handle of the Position shape to the Manager shape.
On the Edit menu, click Undo Modify Control.

Note that Visio stops responding.
