Toolbar Commands on Taskbar Shortcut Menu Are Unavailable

SYMPTOMS

When you right-click the taskbar and then point to Toolbars, all of the commands on the Toolbars menu may be unavailable.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the TweakUI tool is installed and you have cleared the IE4 Enabled check box.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue:
1.Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2.Double-click TweakUI.
3.Click the IE4 tab.
4.Click to select the IE4 Enabled check box.
5.Click OK.

This behavior is by design.

Microsoft Product Support Services Platforms Support does not support the installation or use of the TweakUI tool. To uninstall TweakUI:
1.Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
2.On the Install/Uninstall tab, click TweakUI, and then click Add/Remove.
3.Follow the instructions on the screen to uninstall the TweakUI tool.
NOTE: Uninstalling TweakUI does not reverse any changes made by TweakUI.
