PPT2000: Issues with Sending a Slide as an E-mail with Microsoft Outlook Security Update

SUMMARY

When you send a single slide as an e-mail message, you are prompted to verify the following:

This item contains attachments that are potentially unsafe. Recipients using Outlook may not be able to open these attachments. Do you want to send this mail anyway?

When PowerPoint 2000 sends a slide as an e-mail message, it formats the message by using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and adds a JavaScript file named "script.js". The script.js file contains JavaScript code that implements the various animations and special effects that you have applied to the slide. If you have installed the Microsoft Outlook E-mail Security Update, it automatically warns you that your e-mail contains a potentially unsafe attachment.

If some of your e-mail recipients have installed the Outlook E-mail Security Update, they cannot view the slide's animations and may receive error messages if they try.
