Visio2000: Office Layout Dimension Default Is Not Set to Feet and Inches

When you use the Office Layout template, Visio uses decimal feet instead of feet and inches.

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Visio 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1).

To temporarily work around this problem, set the units of measure for the drawing page to feet and inches. To do so, follow these steps:

1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
2. Click the Page Properties tab.
3. For Measurement Units, click Feet and Inches.
4. Click OK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.  This problem was corrected in Microsoft Visio 2000 SR-1.
