RESOLUTION

Convert the AutoCAD drawing to the Visio format before ungrouping it.

To convert an AutoCAD drawing:
1.Right-click the AutoCAD drawing, point to CAD Drawing Object, and then click Convert.

The Convert Wizard dialog box appears.
2.Click either the Unselect All button and then select individual layers by holding down the CTRL key, or click Select All.
3.Click Next.
4.Click either Delete Selected DWG Layers, Hide the Selected Layers or Levels, or Delete All Layers or Levels.
5.Click Next.
6.Specify how you would like to convert dimensions by selecting either Convert into Visio's Dimension Shapes to update dimensions when you resize the associated Visio shape or Convert into Lines and Text to preserve the CAD formatting.
7.Click Finish.

Visio converts the objects on the selected layers or levels into Visio shapes.
