Cannot Arrange Icons in Search Results Window

SYMPTOMS

After you perform a search in Windows, you may be unable to use the Arrange Icons command on the View menu in the Search Results window.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you have the Thumbnails view option enabled.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, change the current view on the View menu, arrange the icons, and then change back to the Thumbnails view option.
