FIX: IComActivityEvents::OnActivityCreate and IComActivityEvents::OnActivityDestroy Notifications Not Sent

SYMPTOMS

When you use the IComActivityEvents interface, notification of COM+ Activity creation and COM+ Activity destruction may not be sent to a subscriber. This fix ensures that these notifications are always sent.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.
