FIX: COM+ Application Proxy Export Includes System Dynamic-Link Library (DLL)Article ID: 265386 - View products that this article applies to. This article was previously published under Q265386 SYMPTOMS
If you perform an application proxy export on a COM+ application that contains at least one Windows Scripting Host component, the Windows Scripting Host run-time engine, Scrobj.dll, is included in the generated Microsoft Installer (MSI) file. When this MSI file is installed and subsequently removed from a client computer, the Scrobj.dll file is also removed. As a result, Windows Scripting Host functionality is disabled on the client computer.
