SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a system that is running Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with Update 1.
  • In the UAG 2010 management console, you try to configure an authentication server of the type RADIUS.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
The RADIUS Attribute parameters are invalid. Error message: The value of "Attribute Type" must be bigger than 0 and must not exceed 255.

If you continue, authentication and authorization using this server might not function properly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the rollup package that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
