FIX: The window title of a webpage is incorrect when you publish a SharePoint site by using UAG 2010

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You publish a Microsoft SharePoint application through Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
  • You access the SharePoint application from a client computer.
  • You click a link in the SharePoint application to view a different page.
In this scenario, the browser window title or tab title do not change as expected. Instead, the window title or tab title display the title of the first SharePoint page that you accessed.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the UAG 2010 session management mechanism creates a session cookie that contains the title of the page. The UAG session management mechanism then uses the name that is stored in the cookie on other pages that you access.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the rollup package that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
