SUMMARY

When you attempt to drag an image from Microsoft Internet Explorer to Microsoft Works Portfolio, the operation may not always work as expected.

You can drag an image from a Web page to Works Portfolio as long as the graphic is not linked to a URL. If the graphic is linked to a URL, the URL link text may appear instead of the image. To prevent this issue from occurring, you must copy and paste the image into Works Portfolio.

This article describes how to copy an image that is a link and paste it into Works Portfolio.
