SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment, you create the custom package XML to bind the package into DB2/MVS (also known as DB2 for z/OS).
  • You use an isolation-level string to specify the isolation level that is used for the package.

In this scenario, when the package is bound, you notice that the isolation level that you specified is not set as you specified in the custom package XML.

For example, you specify the CursorStability isolation level in the custom package XML. However, when the code is run, the package is set to use the RepeatableRead isolation level.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix. After you apply this hotfix, Host Integration Server obtains the following aliases for each isolation level.
