Network class installers must be able to copy .inf files to the system Inf folder, as the Netsf.inf file does for the Microsoft Windows 2000 Driver Development Kit (DDK) sample pass-through driver. However, when you run the Infcatr tool, you may receive the following error message:
Signability Test 2.00.0059 Windows 2000 and Windows ME Results: ERROR: netsf.inf is copying an inf in [SFilter.CopyFiles.Inf], please remove this, infs are not allowed to copy inf files to the system. CAUSE
There is a problem in the Netcfgx network service class installer.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
