Important This security update is offered when the Visual Studio Macro Tools (also known as Visual Studio for Applications [VSA]) component is installed from Visual Studio 2010. This is because VSA was included as part of Visual Studio 2008, was repackaged, and then was included again as a separate component with Visual Studio 2010.

Prerequisites

To install this update, you must have Windows Installer 2.0 or a later version installed on the computer. To obtain the latest version of Windows Installer, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
