Beginning with Windows 2000, the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) are considered an integral part of the operating system. As a result, the MDAC 2.5 service packs are included as part of the Windows 2000 service packs. Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 includes MDAC 2.5 Service Pack 1 version 2.51.5303, as well as Microsoft Jet 4.0 Service Pack 4 version 4.0.3714. Note Separate MDAC 2.5 installer packages for earlier platforms are released concurrently with the Windows 2000 service packs.
