On This PageSYMPTOMSYou use a mixed-case password in an application to connect to an IBM host system in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment. When you try to connect by using one of the following Host File Providers, the log on try may fail:
CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Host File Provider incorrectly changes mixed-case passwords into uppercase passwords before the Host File Provider sends the password to the IBM host system.
