Roland SuperMPU64 USB Speakers Do Not Play MIDI Music

When you use Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me) with Roland SuperMPU64 USB speakers, you may not be able to play Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) music.

This behavior can occur if you have not established a MIDI device preference.

To resolve this issue, select a MIDI playback device in the Sounds and Multimedia tool in Control Panel. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Sounds and Multimedia icon, and then click the Audio tab.
3. In the MIDI Music Playback list box, click Roland USB MIDI.
4. Click Apply, and then click OK.
