Exception code 0xc00000fd when the Lync Server Front-End service crashes in a Lync Server 2010 environmentArticle ID: 2680983 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSAssume that users hold a conference that contains lots of participants in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment. In this situation, the Lync Server Front-End service crashes when the Archiving service tries to write data to the SQL database. Additionally, the following exception code is received: 0xc00000fd Log Name: Application CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Archiving agent on the server tries to collect the information of each user who is in the instant message (IM) Delivery Notification report. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install the following update: 2701585
