SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use Internet Explorer 9 to browse to a webpage.
  • The webpage uses an HTML forms control SELECT tag such as a drop-down list or a multiselect box.
  • You select an item from the list.
  • You try to print or to print preview the webpage.

In this scenario, the selected item is not maintained for the print or print-preview action. Instead, the print or print-preview action uses the first item or the predefined item in the list.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install this update.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, include the website in the Compatibility View List feature that is provided in Internet Explorer. To do this, click Compatibility View settings on the Tools menu.
