SYMPTOMS

When you select a QuickTime slide transition effect for a presentation that contains objects that have been assigned animations, both the slide transitions (such as Cross Fade or Zoom) and the animations (such as Fly In or Dissolve) are displayed when you view the presentation in PowerPoint.

However, when you save the presentation as a PowerPoint Movie and use QuickTime Player to view it, all of the animations are disabled and fail to appear. The movie displays only the QuickTime slide transitions.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
