SYMPTOMSThe following error can be seen when attempting to add a Hyper-V managed host cluster that is in an untrusted domain using System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager: <Hyper-V host cluster FQDN> cannot resolve with DNS. Ensure there is network communication with the DNS server. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator. ID: 404 Details: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found CAUSEThis can occur if communication on UDP port 5355 is blocked. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, ensure that the systems in question are able to communicate over UDP port 5355.
