Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use the BizTalk Pipeline Component for Host Data Conversion in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 to convert files to use with IBM host systems.

  • You submit many files, such as several hundred files or more, to the BizTalk Pipeline Component for Host Data Conversion through a send port.

In this scenario, some data in some files are not converted correctly. The incorrect data conversion may result in validation errors when you do additional processing of the converted files.

Additionally, you may receive an error message that resembles the following when this problem occurs:

HISMAGB0020 When converting to host format parameter parameter_name in method method_name structure structure_name was not of the expected type.
