SOCKS Users Not Displayed in MSP User Sessions Dialog Box

SYMPTOMS

When you are viewing current sessions that are established to a computer that is running Internet Security and Acceleration Server, SOCKS session user names do not appear in the Connected Users column in the MSP User Sessions dialog box. However, sessions are established, and user connectivity functions properly.

CAUSE

Internet Security and Acceleration Server uses SOCKS 4.3, which does not include user authentication. Therefore, the user name is not available, and is not displayed in the Connected Users column in the MSP User Sessions dialog box.
