If a Windows 2000-based domain controller has its time set ahead of other domain controllers on the network and grants itself Service tickets or Ticket Granting Ticket tickets, other global catalog servers or time servers may return the following message:
The Ticket is not yet Valid
CAUSE
Tickets are stored in the ticket cache on the domain controller. If these tickets have their time set ahead of the other domain controllers, this problem can occur.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
