You may receive one of the following error messages if you try to verify a certificate that has been revoked and is on the certificate revocation list (CRL) that is downloaded by a CRL Distribution Point (CDP):
No CRL found.
-or-
The CRL is unavailable or expired.
CAUSE
The error message is returned as expected. Under some circumstances, the certificate may still get checked by using the CDP as if the certificate has not been revoked, which causes the error message.
RESOLUTIONInternet Explorer 5.5To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Internet Explorer version 5.5. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:267954
