Visio2000: Support for Novell GroupWise and Novell ZENWorks Drivers Available

In addition to solving existing issues, Service Release 1 (SR-1) for Visio 2000 adds new content and functionality to your Visio environment. This article details one of those new features.

With SR-1, Visio's Novell Directory Solution (NDS) now supports Novell GroupWise and Novell ZENWorks drivers.

To include GroupWise and ZENWorks stencils in your Novell Directory Services diagram:

1. On the File menu, point to New, point to Network Diagram, and then click Novell Directory Services to create a new Novell Directory Services diagram.
   
   The Connect To Directory dialog box appears.
2. Click to select the Extend Default Schema check box if it is not already selected, and then click OK.
   
   Visio loads extended schema information, including GroupWise and ZENWorks classes and properties, and then NDS GroupWise and NDS ZENWorks stencils appear in the stencil window.

In addition to loading new stencils, classes, and properties for GroupWise and ZENWorks, the extended schema also adds more mandatory and optional properties to NDS solution shapes available in Visio 2000 Professional Edition and Visio 2000 Enterprise Edition.
