After you run the Microsoft Online Services Diagnostics and Logging (MOSDAL) Support Toolkit, the Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) diagnostics log contains the following error message:

Domain {0} is not a federated domain.

Additionally, you may notice the following behavior when you sign in to your Microsoft cloud service such as Office 365, Windows Azure, or Windows Intune by using single sign-on (SSO)-enabled user ID credentials:
After you update the user ID field to sign in to, no link is displayed to redirect authentication to an on-premises AD FS service for authentication.


This issue may occur if SSO isn't completely implemented.
